The loads you haul and the loads you hand over, on one record.

Lanexa is built for carriers, and a 3PL that runs some trucks and farms out the rest will find its transportation side here.

Interline desk: loads tendered to partner carriers with sell, buy and margin (demo data)

What changes for you

  • Farmed-out loads look like your ownFleet and up

Tender a load to a partner from the interline desk and the load record says so plainly — none of your drivers or trucks can be assigned to it. Sell, buy and margin show on every tender, with the partner's cost subtracted rather than ignored.

  • The partner's bill arrives weeks laterFleet and up

When the partner delivers, the bill you owe them is raised in accounts payable by itself, for a person to approve. Unpaid partner money shows on its own trust tile on the payables screen — in Ontario, money collected for a partner-hauled load is trust money until the partner is paid.

  • Customers ask where their freight isEvery plan

Every load can publish a tracking link your customer opens with no account. Documents go out as time-limited, revocable share links — to a customer, an insurer or a factor — and a document request link lets anyone upload a missing paper from a phone, straight onto the load.

  • Cross-border freight needs the same packet every timeFleet · border waits on every plan

On Fleet, Border Desk pulls them together against the trip, scores how ready the crossing is with a link to whatever is missing, prints the barcoded paperwork and emails your customs broker their packet, ready to file. Live CBP and CBSA booth waits are on every plan.

  • The business is more than one companyEnterprise

On Enterprise, unlimited companies run under one plan. The Group screen adds up booked freight revenue across them and shows each company's share, with each company's books kept separate, and the ledger's group lens gives a consolidated trial balance with intercompany eliminations.

  • Accounts Payable — Partner bills raised on delivery, checked against the rate confirmation.

Can Lanexa run a 3PL?

It runs the transportation side: your own trucks, loads farmed out to partner carriers, customers, documents, border paperwork and the money on both sides of each shipment.

EDI is available as an add-on module.

How is a farmed-out load billed and paid?

Your customer is invoiced from the load as usual.

When the partner delivers, Lanexa raises the bill you owe them in accounts payable for a person to approve, so the receivable and the payable sit on the same shipment and the load's margin counts the partner's cost.

Can we run several companies in Lanexa?

Yes, on Enterprise. Unlimited companies share one plan, and each keeps its own books and its own invoice numbering.

The Group screen adds up booked freight revenue across them, and the ledger gives a consolidated trial balance with intercompany eliminations.

Your freight and your partners', on one record.
