# Lanexa > Lanexa is a transportation management system (TMS) for small and mid-sized North American carriers, built in Canada by Cygnik Tech around Canada–US cross-border freight. One shipment record runs from quote to payment — quoting, dispatch, trips, documents, border paperwork, IFTA fuel tax, invoicing, accounts payable, driver pay, a general ledger, analytics and driver messaging — across 23 modules, priced in Canadian dollars from CAD $5 a month. ## Key facts - 5,137 live capabilities of 5,481 catalogued, across 23 modules. - Marking a load delivered writes the draft invoice in the same database transaction (destination-province tax, the customer's fuel surcharge), or records why it did not. - The database refuses to dispatch a load with no customer, and refuses a duplicate tender. - The complete quarterly IFTA workspace is on every plan, including Solo. - Border: live CBP and CBSA commercial wait times on every plan. Border Desk (Fleet) prepares the ACE and ACI eManifest packet, ready to file, with the PARS and PAPS references and the broker loop. - Drivers need no app: links and messages in a phone browser, SMS (Start and up), and WhatsApp as an add-on. Driver photos are filed against the load and named by a person in a review queue. - QuickBooks Online: invoices, payments and carrier bills go straight into QuickBooks (Start and up). - EDI: available as an add-on module, run through our EDI partner and set up with your trading partners on request. - AI features (rate-confirmation import, Ask Lanexa reports, a daily brief) never compute a number and never see your customer data. - ELD: Samsara and Geotab accounts can be connected on Fleet for live GPS and hours-of-service clocks. - Security: the database keeps each company’s data apart on every request; ready-made roles with per-person permissions and separation of duties. ## Pricing (CAD; annual billing saves 20%) Solo is CAD $5 (US$3.50) a month billed annually, or $6.25 (US$4.38) month to month, for one truck. It covers quoting, customers, dispatch, trips, fleet and drivers, documents, border paperwork, compliance and IFTA, invoicing, accounts payable, driver pay, the general ledger, analytics and driver messaging — as one shipment record rather than several systems reconciled by hand. - **How much does Lanexa cost?** Solo is CAD $5 (US$3.50) a month billed annually, or $6.25 (US$4.38) month to month, for one truck. Start is CAD $119 (US$83) a month billed annually, or $149 (US$104) month to month, for up to nine trucks with unlimited office users. Fleet is CAD $399 (US$279) a month for the first 10 trucks, then $40 (US$28) per active truck, billed annually ($499 (US$349) and $50 (US$35) month to month). Enterprise is priced by arrangement. Annual billing saves 20%. Prices are in Canadian dollars; US dollar figures are a guide at a fixed 0.70. During the early bird, new customers get 50% off: the first 12 months on annual plans and the first 3 months on monthly plans. Solo’s early bird is on annual billing only, which makes Solo CAD $30 (US$21) for its first year. WhatsApp for your fleet is an add-on on Start and Fleet, and included on Enterprise. - **What counts as an active truck on the Fleet plan?** A power unit assigned to at least one load that month, counted nightly. A truck that sits parked all month is not billed, and trailers are never billed. - **Does the cheapest plan include IFTA?** Yes. The complete quarterly fuel-tax workspace is on Solo, CAD $5 (US$3.50) a month billed annually, including the IFTA Audit-Armor report. Fuel tax is never held back to push an upgrade. Driver texting, driver pay, Border Desk and more office users come with Start and Fleet. - **Is there a free trial?** Yes. Solo starts with 90 days free: you verify with a card or a driving licence, and nothing is charged at signup. Start and Fleet include 30 days free with no card required. When a Start or Fleet trial ends you get seven days read-only, then the account falls back to Solo with every record intact. Nothing is deleted. - **Do drivers need to install an app?** No. Drivers work from links and messages in their phone's browser, by SMS, or on WhatsApp with the add-on. Nothing to download, nothing to update. - **Can drivers send documents over WhatsApp?** Yes, with the WhatsApp add-on. A photo a driver sends in a load's thread is filed against that load and waits in a review queue, where someone in the office names it — BOL, POD — in one click. - **Does Lanexa connect to QuickBooks?** Yes. From the Start plan, Lanexa sends invoices, payments and carrier bills straight into QuickBooks Online, so your books stay current without retyping. - **Does Lanexa work with my ELD?** Yes. On the Fleet plan, Lanexa connects to your Samsara or Geotab account for live GPS positions and, where enabled, hours-of-service clocks and Geotab IFTA distance. - **Does Lanexa handle eManifest for border crossings?** Yes. Border Desk, on Fleet, prepares the ACE and ACI packets, the PARS and PAPS references and the broker loop, ready to file, and checks every crossing against the one-hour clock. - **Can I move my data in from another system?** Yes. CSV import for loads and customers is on every plan, with column names mapped automatically, and AI rate-confirmation import — upload the PDF, review the pre-filled load — is on Start and up. Planning a big move? Write to support@lanexa.io and we will help you bring it across. - **What happens if I stop paying or need a break?** Nothing is deleted. You can pause for up to 180 days and everything stays readable. Cancelling from Settings drops you to Solo at the end of the period, and a lapsed trial falls back to Solo too. Every path ends in read-only or a smaller plan. - **How does Lanexa fit with my ELD, load boards and accountant?** Lanexa is the TMS in the middle. On Fleet it reads live positions from your Samsara or Geotab account and keeps a real double-entry general ledger, and from Start it sends invoices, payments and bills to QuickBooks Online for your accountant. Load board integration is coming in the next upgrade. - **Is my company's data kept separate?** Yes. The database itself keeps every company’s data apart, on every request, and your most sensitive records, such as connection credentials and identity documents, cannot be reached from a browser at all. Card numbers never touch Lanexa; they go straight to the payment processor. ## Pages - [Home](https://lanexa.io/) - [Pricing](https://lanexa.io/pricing) - [Platform](https://lanexa.io/platform) - [Capability registry](https://lanexa.io/platform/capabilities) - [Why Lanexa](https://lanexa.io/why) - [Compare](https://lanexa.io/compare) - [Trucking TMS prices compared](https://lanexa.io/compare/trucking-tms-prices) - [Glossary](https://lanexa.io/glossary) - [Integrations](https://lanexa.io/integrations) - [Trust](https://lanexa.io/trust) - [Security and roles](https://lanexa.io/trust/security) - [What's next](https://lanexa.io/whats-next) - [Solutions](https://lanexa.io/solutions) - [Solutions: carriers](https://lanexa.io/solutions/carriers) - [Solutions: owner-operators](https://lanexa.io/solutions/owner-operators) - [Contact](https://lanexa.io/contact) - Full site text: https://lanexa.io/llms-full.txt ## Contact Cygnik Tech · Suite 400 – 1940 Eglinton Ave E, Toronto, ON M1L 4R1 · (888) 777-1672 · support@lanexa.io · info@lanexa.io Source of figures: Lanexa 3.0 blueprint (Lanexa TMS v2.0.65).
